We would like to introduce you to the Graduate Christian Movement (AKH). It is a nationwide community of young working Christians aged approximately 25 to 35/40 years, whose mission is to create events and opportunities for meetings so that young people do not lose contact with the community of believing friends after leaving the student environment. It organizes various types of events - from spiritual, through social, to volunteer weekends in areas affected by floods, etc. It has completed its first year of operation, which can be described as a very successful year. Nearly all events were fully booked with many replacements.
This organization is represented in all major cities in the Czech Republic (Prague, Brno, Ostrava, České Budějovice, Zlín, ...) and strives to offer cooperation to other communities. In terms of structure and concept, AKH CR is very similar to the University Catholic Movement (VKH ČR), with which it collaborates closely. Its operation is based on the principle of voluntariness and the willingness of people to engage in AKH. The structure of AKH consists of leadership, a council, city unions, and volunteers. The chairman of this movement in the Czech Republic is Milan Janás.
